The Cantinho Restaurants Gift & Rewards Card - Terms of Use Agreement
The following Terms of Use Agreement apply to the user of the Cantinho Gift & Rewards Card. The use of any Cantinho Card constitutes the acceptance to the terms and conditions identified in this Agreement.
Use of the Cantinho Gift Dollars:
The Cantinho Gift dollars can only be used as a form of payment at the Cantinho restaurants. The Cantinho Gift dollars allows user to add dollars on the card for future purchases. The amount of dollars on the Cantinho Gift Card do not expire, they are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Adding dollars to the Cantinho Gift Card
You can add dollars to your Cantinho Gift Card at any Cantinho restaurant location. A minimum value of $10.00 is required per Cantinho Gift Card activation.
Use of the Cantinho Rewards Account:
REGISTRATION
You need to register your profile online at www.OCantinho.ca and link your Cantinho Rewards Card to your profile to become a privileged member OR you could use your smart phone and opt to obtain a digital Cantinho Rewards Card upon your registration. The choice is yours. Start by filling out the registration form to receive an activation email and then click on the link to authenticate your membership inscription. 
BENEFITS
All Cantinho Card holders can obtain 5% in Reward Points per dollar spent pre-tax at the Cantinho Restaurants.  All valid members can redeem their Points as a mode of payment from the Cantinho Restaurants.  Valid members will receive and may earn personalized email promotions from time to time from the Cantinho Restaurants.
PROMOTIONS
Promotions are offered and emailed to privileged members only and are applicable for a limited time to the location identified within the personalized offer.
MEMBER
A valid member is any customer who has completed the free registration process and activated their Cantinho Gift & Rewards Card membership profile by using the web and a valid email.
LOST OR FORGOTTEN PROMOTIONS
The Cantinho Gift & Rewards program and the Cantinho restaurant locations cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or expired promotions and or cards.
REWARD POINTS REDEMPTIONS
Only the activated Cantinho Rewards Card members and registered cards can redeem Reward Points as a form of payment for future purchases made at the Cantinho restaurants.  A minimum value of 1000 Reward Points, equivalent to 10$ is required to be used upon every redemption at the Cantinho Restaurants by any Cantinho Rewards member.
TERMINATION AND EXPIRY
All Cantinho Reward Points that have not been used for 730 consecutive days from their last transaction will be terminated and all benefits of the program will be expired. 
MODIFICATIONS
The Cantinho Rewards Card, the Cantinho Restaurants and the locations reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate the Cantinho Rewards Card program, to alter, limit, modify or add to the Cantinho Rewards  Card program rules, regulations, terms and conditions without prior notice at any time and from time to time. As permitted by applicable law, any amendment will become effective at the time the amended agreement is posted online through www.OCantinho.ca.
PROTECT YOUR CARD
You can register your Cantinho Gift & Rewards Card online at www.OCantinho.ca to protect the balance on the card. Your Cantinho Gift & Rewards account balances are only protected from the point in time that you notify us of your stolen, lost or damaged card and the identification, verification of your profile has been established.
CARD BALANCES
You can obtain the balance of your Cantinho Gift & Rewards Card by visiting any Cantinho restaurant and or online at www.OCantinho.ca.  Any time you conduct  a Cantinho Gift & Rewards Card transaction, you will be provided with a receipt (proof of transaction) clearly identifying the card’s new balance. You should validate every receipt and safe keep all of you receipts for future reference if required.
ERRORS
The Cantinho Restaurants and it’s locations shall have no liability for any questionable transaction as transactional errors need to be identified and resolved at time of occurrence with the management of the participating location. Any questionable transactional errors need to be communicated to the management of each participating Cantinho restaurant. The Cantinho Restaurants reserve the right not to accept, load or re-issue Cantinho Gift & Rewards Card if the Cantinho Restaurants reasonably believes that the use is unauthorized or fraudulent.
GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada therein.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This agreement is the complete and exclusive statement of agreement between card holder and the Cantinho Restaurants, its locations, and exceeds and joins all prior agreements.
